Established in 2016 in Saint-Haon-le-Châtel, the Laiterie de la Côte Roannaise is a natural extension of our dedication to quality and authenticity. Our aim is to craft dairy products that are natural, free from preservatives, thickeners, and synthetic flavors, adhering to organic standards and produced with utmost care.
Initially focusing solely on cow's milk, our production has evolved to include cheeses made from cow, goat, and sheep milk. We collect all our milk daily, ensuring freshness and quality. The milk flows into our facility by gravity, avoiding pumping and multiple transfers, allowing for immediate processing without stressful storage or cooling.
Our products are certified organic and predominantly made from raw milk. Even our whey is repurposed, collected by a local farmer, ensuring zero waste.
All our milk suppliers are local farmers within a 10 to 40 km radius of the creamery. This proximity ensures optimal milk freshness and quality control. We collect milk daily and process it immediately upon arrival.
Our collaboration with producers is built on mutual trust, emphasizing transparency, animal welfare, and environmentally conscious farming practices. We strive to produce milk of exceptional quality while ensuring the well-being of both animals and farmers.
All our products are certified organic and made from raw milk, guaranteeing authentic flavors and perfect traceability.

In addition, the whey generated during production is collected for a local biogas plant to avoid any unnecessary waste or transfer, thus contributing to sustainable and local resource management.
